[MANNAM] 2PM Makes a Comeback!

2PM has made their comeback after a 2 year hiatus.
Their title songs are <하.니.뿐> and <Listen To This And Come Back To Me>.
As of now, all the songs have been released.

This album will make it easy for everyone to sing along to the catchy choruses and is filled with compositions by the members themselves.

They've always been known as the "beastly" idols for their strong performances, but they're toning it down for a more mature concept with this release.
The self-composed songs especially show the growth of the individual members.

Although we can't predict the success of this album, we can see the growth of the members and group as a whole. It's also an album that will allow us to guess at the future improvements and changes the group may undergo.

[MANNAM] The representatives of Korean entertainment agencies Ver. 2 'YG Entertainment'

Today, I upload a post about YG entertainment!

YG Entertainment (Korean: YG 엔터테인먼트) is a record label and talent agency founded by Yang Hyun-suk based in Seoul, South Korea. It produces and markets music recording/publishing, record manufacturing/sales, artist management, concert production, and new artist discovering/training. YG is an abbreviation for "Yang Goon", a nickname given to the Executive Director Yang Hyun-suk.

Once the home of hip-hop groups Jinusean and 1TYM, its current roster of recording artists are known to be some of the biggest K-pop acts internationally. Big Bang, 2NE1, and PSY have proved to be the front runners of Korean music wave, while Epik High, Se7en, Gummy, and Lee Hi have all achieved great success.
YG Entertainment is known for their emphasis on artistic freedom and keeping the integrity of the music. Most of their acts are self-sustaining, since they compose and produce a majority of their own music. The label's distinct philosophy made them outsiders to the Korean mainstream until Big Bang's domination in the late 2000s. Today, YG Entertainment is known as one of the "big three" record companies in South Korea for their large market share. Official contents by YG Entertainment and its artists have cumulatively garnered more than 3.5 billion views and are subscribed by more than 8 million users on YouTube, making them the most viewed and most subscribed artists and entertainment agency in Asia-Pacific.
YG Entertainment's records are distributed by KMP Holdings in Korea, WMG in Taiwan, and Japan operations are managed by YGEX, a collaboration label between AVEX and YG Entertainment. The company officially became a publicly traded company on November 23, 2011. In 2012, YG Entertainment's share prices saw a year-over-year increase of more than 60% due to the increase in publicity following the achievements of multiple artists on the label.
From Wikipedia

I think only those with the ability belong to YG entertainment. They have their own uniqueness and colors.

Next time, I will upload a oost about the representatives od Korean entertainment agencies Ver. 3.
You can look forward to Ver.3!

[MANNAM] Korean Idol’s Ranking In U.S

Many people had the expectation that PSY would top the charts of the Korean Idols in the U.S, but he ranked the 5th, with BIGBANG ranked the 1st.

BIGBANG is a five-member idol group who is popular in Korea, U.S, Asia and Europe.
Before their debut, they were an issue, and after their debut, they got so much love because they produced a lot of hit songs.

Super Junior ranked 2nd and Wonder Girls ranked the 3rd.

Super Junior who ranked the 2nd is an idol boy group and all members have their own characteristic and always work to show their best side to their fans!

Woder Girls who ranked the 3rd  got a lot of attention because their songs were a hit and spread throughout to the world.

As you see, there is an intersting point in the fact that those who ranked the 1st, 2nd and 3rd are in each SM entertainment, JYP entertainment and YG entertainment.

And singers who are in these three entertainment agencies, hold high ranks.
Their competition in good faith draw attention from the audience and singers.
It is so interesting thing and I think those who are interested in K-Pop can share it.
FT ISLAND and CNBLUE which are excellent bands, BEAST and RAIN which get a lot of love, T-ARA and SISTAR which have a lot of male fans hold ranks.

I think all people are not that different about how we feel the music even if we are of different nationalities, language and culture. So I am glad that we can share feelings through the music.

p.s I like SISTAR.

[MANNAM] The Best of the Money-Making Idols

The February 18th episode of SBS
"Good Morning" showed the ranks of which idols make the most bank.

Who was in first place?

Siwon Choi, a Super Junior members, placed first!
His father, Kiho Choi, was the former president of 'Boryung Medience'! Surprising!

On SBS' "Strong Heart", the leader of Super Junior, Leeteuk, said, "Siwon ranked 1st in earning money in 2011 among the Super Junior members. He took a lot of commercial films abroad in countries such as Thailand, China, and Taiwan. We can't hold a candle to him."

Eunhyuk, another member of Super Junior said, "No matter how much we make, we can't make more than what he already had."

Following in 2nd place is JYJ.

Yoochun Park recently bought an expensive villa, while Junsu Kim and Jaejoong Kim each live in a villa costing about three billion won. How envious we are...

Third place goes to Hara Goo of KARA,
who bought a house for 1.1 billion won in Cheong-dam dong.

In 4th place, BoA, the star of Asia!

Fifth place is Big Bang's G-Dragon, who receives 1 billion won every year just from royalties.

Even group members are jealous of these money-making stars!

But behind the scenes, they continue to do good deeds, donate to charities, and always work to show their best side to heir fans!
That's why we love K-pop idols!
