Starting with Superstar K, there are lots of audition program here in korea.

The area of audition program is spreading regardless of kind such as Singer, Model, Band, Designer and advertising men.

But there is nothing more popular than Superstar K and winner.

In this situation, there is an audition program an issued these days.

That is K-POP STAR.

K-POP STAR let down a curtain as making Jimin Park, Hai Lee, Ayeon Baek star.

One of them, Hai Lee, topped the K-pop charts.

The ostensible reason of Success of K-POP STAR is judges' authority.

Jinyeong Park, BOA, Hyunsuk Yang, the representative of each entertainment agency such as JYP, SM, YG, were judges.

It is the difference between other audition program.

Also if judges became mento as well, it would make people have a bias. But they contain objectivity by changing mento every week.

In K-POP STAR 2, the winner can be cast to YG, SM, JYP become worldwide entertainment agency.

They had a Live broadcast Survival lately following choosing TOP 10.

10 entrants, Andrew Choi, Akdong Musician, You U, Sujin Seong, Yegeun Choi, Jinwoo Lee, Yedam Bang, Raccoon Boys and 2,000won and Jihun Shin, moved up to the Live broadcast Survival.
